The Sociology Journal

About Us

Sociology Daily is an independent digital publication dedicated to the study and understanding of society. We make sociological knowledge accessible, rigorous, and relevant — connecting classical theory to the questions that define modern social life.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to share well-researched blogs and quality data on sociology. Every article we publish is written to inform, educate, and encourage critical thinking about the social world — whether you are a student encountering sociology for the first time, a researcher, an educator, or simply a curious reader.

What We Publish

Sociology Daily covers the full breadth of the discipline, with content organized around four core areas:

  • Sociological Theory — clear, accurate explanations of classical and contemporary theory, from the founding thinkers of the discipline to modern schools of thought.
  • Key Concepts & Thinkers — accessible profiles and definitions that build a solid foundation in sociology.
  • Research Methods & Data — quality data, resources, and guides that support learning and research in the social sciences.
  • Social Issues & Analysis — sociological perspectives on the questions shaping societies today.

We publish for substance, not volume — quality takes priority over quantity in everything we share.

Our Editorial Standard

We hold every piece to three principles: accuracy, clarity, and independence. Content on Sociology Daily is carefully researched and written in plain, readable language, because rigorous ideas should not require a privileged vocabulary. We would rather publish one well-crafted article than ten shallow ones.

Our Founder

Sociology Daily was founded by Muhammad Touseef, who created the publication out of a conviction that sociological knowledge should be freely available to everyone — not locked behind paywalls or confined to academic journals. He continues to lead the publication’s direction and content. You can connect with him on LinkedIn.

Independence & Funding

Sociology Daily is entirely self-funded by its founder. We receive no external sponsorship or institutional funding, which keeps the publication fully independent: our only obligation is to our readers and to the quality of what we publish.

Thank you for being part of a growing community of readers who believe society is worth understanding. Explore our latest articles, and connect with us on LinkedIn to stay updated.
